Paid Time Off (PTO)

You can use your PTO hours for vacation, personal or family illness (including the unpaid waiting period for short-term disability), personal business, family matters and religious observance.

Our PTO year is from Feb. 1 through Jan. 31. As of each Feb. 1, unused PTO up to a maximum of 40 hours will carry over and you’ll forfeit amounts over 40 hours.

California employees: Once your PTO accrual reaches 1.5 times your Potential Annual Accrual (above), you will not accrue additional PTO until your accrual decreases below the cap.

SupportLinc Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

SupportLinc, the Motorola Solutions Employee Assistance Program (EAP), provides a variety of professional services that support you and your eligible family members at no cost to you. One key benefit is short-term, confidential counseling, referral and follow-up services for you and your family members. You and your eligible family members are eligible for up to five (5) counseling sessions per individual, per episode each calendar year.

SupportLinc can help you with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, marital and family problems, parenting concerns, alcohol and drug abuse, stress, grief, workplace and life coaching, and other emotional personal concerns that may affect personal well-being and work performance.

Additionally, your EAP offers work-life services such as referral services for legal questions, financial planning, child care, elder care, home improvement and any other daily living issue you might need.

LifeSecure Long-Term Care Insurance

You and your eligible family members can prepare now for the possibility of facing rising costs of health care and professional long term care services in the future as the result of an accident or illness. LifeSecure Long-Term Care Insurance is available to Active employees, spouse/domestic partners, parents, grandparents and children over 18. LifeSecure bills you directly.
